I am so sorry readers, this blog is going on another hiatus.

I am really really busy with my work lately.

Mid semester tests are coming, plus all those CCA works...

They totally threw me off balance already.

I shall update when I am actually free.

Which is another 2 more weeks

Until then, please bear with this semi-dead blog.

Opps, I forgot.

Psychopathics In Detail

13th November 2008

Hope you don't die prematurely.

I Gotta Feeling

|
Blogger's note: Feeling oddly calm in such mess. I actually enjoy this. Sorry Jcong, no time to get photos into my post. : )

Yo! See, I keep my promise, one post per week. Here I am, to report to you readers~

Anyway, I got this Facebook page recommendation from someone I know a few days ago. Guess who's page is it?

His name is Namewee. Never heard of him? Check this video out then,

Heck, I know many people out there actually like him to the extent of calling him "hero" . Here's the thing, I don't. You're entitled to your own opinion, and so am I. So, read this on without feeling offended, : )

In my opinion, this dude is a piece of shyt, a disgrace to the whole Chinese community in M'sia. People like this is exactly why the stereotype of Chinese (being uneducated and rude and etc.) survives for so many year. He looks like just any Ah Beng/ JinJang who is trying too hard to get some attention.

Seriously? Rewriting our national anthem to insult our own country by using foul language? Is that not enough already? Now he is being an arse swearing around in a government department.

I mean, even if there's an blackout, and someone is at fault, he is NOT entitled to just go and curse everyone. The remarks he made was pretty racist too. There has got to be a more educated way of doing things instead of being an ass.

I still can't understand why some people actually look up to him. Like, he is probably one of the worst role model around. You guys call his action "brave".....and I think that is just a great insult to real brave people like Nelson Mandela and etc.

Racist. Uneducated. Barbarian. Idiotic. All checked.

I been to a Chinese school, a public school, and a Methodist school. I had friends of all races. And they are all awesome in their own way. It is quite saddening to see the way our country is heading. People like him is why racial harmony is such a challenge to us, Malaysians. I hate the fact that the entire community of Malaysian-Chinese is being associated with him. Enough said.

The really brave people are those who fight for peace. Not swearing around.

By the way, Lady Gaga's new video for Bad Romance really rocks!

I love this song....Britney Spears is back!

I hope the music video was better thou....but it is still kicking arse!

Anyone watched EMA 2009? Beyonce and U2 were totally awesome ! I didn't watch the entire show coz I was overwhelm with school work. Recently, someone dropped a bomb on me when they decided to shift the yearbook "FOVEO" project to me. Initially, I was quite annoyed since it was really last minute notice and there isn't not much time for us to prepare. But still, work is work. Wish us luck!

Azfar is mad at me for no reason at all. Apparently, I offended him somehow, made him felt so bloody low like never before. He is now punishing me by giving me silent treatment. Like wtf? If you're gonna punish me, at least let me know what crime I have offended right? I feel so lost.

Oh yeah. I want to watch "Beyond the Realm Conscience"! ....... I am missing my Cantonese cable TV so so much now.....Wah Lai Toi, AOD.....haih. Anyone know how to watch these channels from Singapore?

There isn't much to blog about today. I ought to go back to my books now. Can't afford to waste time nowadays.

Bye!

Mattness

|

Blogger's note: Pardon the pun. Madness Mattness. : )

Sorry for the lack of update. The whole of last week has been pretty heavy for me. I am so glad that the T-shirt selling is over, and now I can move on to the other projects, namely, DCHE Sports Challenge, Foveo III, DCHE Website, DCHE Got Talents!....and others. The list could go on forever, I swear.

So far, my balancing act between Student Chapter and studies has work out well. Apart from the frequent random outburst of madness I had during the classes ( ask Joevin, Yadana and Shaheerah ), I think I did bloody well. So, I decided to add some excitement to my somewhat crazy life.

I went for the ISC interview. It was totally not a spur of the moment thing.

Obviously, I didn't go there alone, I dragged along Marchia and Yadana with me. We reached there at arnd 5pm+ and we waited till 10pm for our interview. Yup, 10 pm. We had lots of fun thou while waiting. We drank the wine that was intended for our experiment, we gossiped, we laughed, and suddenly, we are outside the interview room already.

Honestly, I wasn't as nervous I thought I would be. Probably due the the fact that I laughed so much and I was already bloody tired after a straight 8am-6pm classes with only 1 hour pathetic lunch break in between. So, I went in there, sat down in front of 22 seniors.

And they started shooting questions at me.

Like a bazooka.

I must admit, they throw pretty darn good questions at me. To an extent that I felt my mind was very contradicted. Of all the questions I answered, the hardest one has got to be this,

"Tell us a story, any story."

I eventually came out with some story, not without some struggling.

Overall, although I managed to answer their questions, I felt like I was being a f***ed up arrogant bastard who was trying to hard to make sense though. Ha. We shall see next week when the short listed candidates list is announced.

Anyway, yesterday, Joevin, Shaheerah, Yadana and I went on a "SP Tour". We got too bored waiting for Intro to Microbiology practical and decided to went for a walk to the other side of the school. Yeah, eventually, we spent 1 hour walking up and down, in and out of the school buildings. Not too bad a way to spend time eh?

Seriously, we were like so bloody high these few days.

And I am so fucking annoyed when some ppl never pick up the responsibility to do their work. In the end, you ppl drag behind the entire progress and causes trouble to us! Also, to "that person", could you stop asking stupid question ? Seriously, I felt like giving you a punch in the face the other day. Sometimes I wonder if your IQ is equivalent to your shoe size.

My life could have been much better if I can really cancel off the last paragraph off my life. ; )

Thanks for reading!

We Rock!

Blogger's note: There is no note.

The reprinted DCHE Tee has arrived.....The new Tee samples look so much better.. ; )  The EXCO members aka Naziah, Ting Sin, Jufri and I went to MLT 1 to promote the T-shirt to the year 3s during their common lecture..... Ting Sin even brought a mannequin top so that we could put the T-shirt sample over it and promote to the students. The response was ok. I heard that one of the class has all of the students bought it! Hahas!

Heard from Dr.Chia (actually, Marchia heard it from him, and retold the story to us) that our class did very well for APChem! Apparently, I ALMOST got full marks! Woot! I am not gonna be modest and I am damn proud of myself, lol! 'Dah hidung tinggi!  Haha! On top of that, our class, DCHE1A03 has defeated all the other course taking this paper....Yes, all other courses including Biomedical Science peeps! Even their lecturers were surprised as well. Out of the 15/16 distinctions, 7 actually came from our class. Ah well, our class rocks on forever. ChemEng rules!

Yesterday, Yadana and I went to the "Science Pursuit" thing at T1A yesterday...  Why? Course they will be showing the CLS promo video to the audience. I mean, the CLS video featuring us for less than 15 seconds...haha! It is just a short clip to promote all the CLS courses. We were thick-skinned enough to sit on the floor in front of the whole bunch of secondary school students.....LOL. Yadana, Marchia and I were filmed the other day at W318...and we are quite anxious to see it...Anyway, this is how our "scene" looks like..

In the video, I was walking down the pilot plant at ground floor and I tell Yadana to initiate the process via talkie-talkie....on the other end, Yadana in the control room replied and proceed to start the thang using those oh-so-canggih computer. As I walk to the other side to turn the knob on the machine, Marchia on the second storey is taking down the stats...the end.. For the record, the three of us have no idea what we are doing on the pilot plant thingy...lol, don't think we will touch those stuff until I am year 3 anyway.

LOL, lame? I agree so....Haha, but then again, it was quite fun when we did the video. Anyway, as compared to all the other CLS courses, our clip seems to be the most boring. The other courses' clips are bloody colours with all those pretty chemicals...while ours are plain grey-silvery pilot plant, machines and control station.

To be honest, ChemEng was really nothing like what I imagined when I signed up for the course. Instead of Chemistry, as the title sort of "promised", we actually deal more with physics, engineering and mathematics. Of course we still take some minor modules related to Bio and Chem...But still, a bit component of our course is related to technical stuffs.....After taking the module for almost half a year now, I realize that it is not as bad/boring as it sounds...after all, physics are all bout understanding theories....there is nothing much to worry about once the concept is clear. A lot of ppl have asked me this question, and now I shall answer it....

Anyone: Are you changing course to DCP next year?

NO!

I think that is all for now. I am sleepy. nites.

Blogger's note: Too lazy to think of a blog title. Blank. XP

As mentioned in the earlier post, the Marina Barrage visit has been canceled, due to the fact that the year 1s have to attend a compulsory briefing on the very same day. It is something about CPTC .....our internship at Jurong Island next year. On the other hand, the response for the DCHE Tee is crapy.....As a designer of the shirt, and the person in-charge of the publicity, you can imagine how fucking depressing/stressing it is for me.... Haih....how I wish all this negative vibes could just swing away.

Ok, enough with ranting....Talk about happy stuff.

Saw Mrs.Leong at FC3 yesterday. She told us that I did "extraordinary well" for my Material in Practice final paper. She even said that no one has ever did this well in the past too.... Damn, I am GOOD! HAHA! Self-praise IS still a praise! I am not gonna lie.....I am so proud of myself man......

Kk, i shall stop on this before you guys got disgusted....ha.

Attended Econ class in the evening for the second time now...Thank god I didn't do anything stupid this time. I managed to stay awake through out the 4 hour lesson. And I managed to give a perfect answer to the tutorial question. WOOT! Anyway, during those short dinner break and toilet break, CaiTing and I were chatting non stop....haha, quite fun too....For some reason, our small group seem to be the most responsive group there.....

Had to crawl out of my cosy bed just to attend the GEM today...I took Psychology and Counseling ( or as Lanna put it......Psycho!). Quite a relaxing module I guess...For the first half of the lesson was lecture, which was quite interesting. While the second half concern more on the psychology test...Kinda anticipating the next lesson.

Meeting again this Friday. Timetable is super packed with lessons and practicals and meetings. Should I register for ISC interview next Monday.....I can't make decision....Someone! Help me!

Yup, that's all.....This post is basically some random updates on my school life.

Bye!

Marina Barrage. DCHE Tee

|
Blogger's notes: This is a formal announcement to all DCHE students. Fyi, an email of the exact same content have been sent out to most ppl too.

Hi everybody!

I hate to deliver a bad news, but here it is.....,

Sadly, the Marina Barrage visit has been cancelled due to a conflicting schedules. Apparently, a lot of our students would not be able to join us on that day. After much consideration, we have decided to cancelled the event....after all, it is so not cool to leave someone behind right?

.....I know, sad isn't it? But hey! Don't worry, DCHE Student Chapter has lot of activities in store for you! As the matter of fact, we are having so much activities in hands that our exco members are buried in tonnes of preparation work!  Ha!  So, get ready for a fresh semester with fun-filled activities!

On the other hand, The DCHE Tee sale is coming to an end really soon....I am pretty sure that all of you have seen or at least heard of the design....So, what are you waiting for? Order yours today!

Dearest year 3 seniors, this is going to be your last year in SP.....don't you wanna buy the very last DCHE Tee as to remember all the sweet and sour of the three years as a DCHE students? Indeed, 3 years of poly life with your classmates is not something that everyone can or should ever forget. The memories. Can be good. Can be bad. Whatever it is, it is part of our life. A very defining part of our life that made us what we are today....I really hope that all of you would buy this T-shirt, as a time capsule, to treasure this moment forever, in the form of a simple simple T-shirt....You might think that the design does not suit your taste or otherwise, but after all, it is the meaning behind the Tee can really counts.....As our President, Naziah said, "Our identity that bonds us together."

Fyi, we have already received order from one of the year 1 classes. They have their whole class buying the Tees. So, year 2s and year 3s, remember to show some support ya!

Ok, I think this is quite a lengthy email. Again, apologize. I appeal to all of you guys to give a second thought on the Tee. It is a collective effort paid by many of our own students, and it signify the collective memories we all have in SP. We really appreciate your support towards the Student Chapter.

THANK YOU!

Best regards,

Matthew James
Asst.Vice-President,
Communication Department,
DCHE Student Chapter.

Blogger's note: I am bored......yet, I have tonnes to things to do. And heck, I don't like the new facebook layout.....

I survived the first week of school.....yay me!....swt. Anyway, 9 modules in one semester isn't as hard as it seems... well, as least for the first week. I am starting to really like some of the modules already....so far, my favourite is Chem Eng Principle B......

Gosh, my lecturer actually give a length explanation and apologies for being late.....for 1 minute. ONE minute only, and he sincerely apologized to the whole class of 23 brats. Whoa...wonder what he'll do if he's late for 15 minutes.

So far, I find Eng Maths the most challenging........that bloody SPM Add.Math syllabus is so much shallow than O-level..... I was feeling lost half the lesson when the lecturer talk about things that are considered "basic" ...and yet I have never learn in my high school. Fcuk SPM. I'm need lots of work to lay some foundation for this module.

On another note, first week into the new position as assistant VP is tiring..... The amount of problems that arise in just one week is enough to kill my brain. Just received some bad news regarding the DCHE Tee.... Marina Barrage trip got canceled. Man...this is not looking good.  I am laughing in agony at the exco election/interview coming in just a few weeks....Anyway, giving up is so not my style.... : )  Gotta figure out an escape plan asap....

When all thing are not working well, you will realise that the smallest thing could really cheer you up. Here was what happened.

There was an email from DHL yesterday, saying that I have a package, which cannot be delivered due to an incomplete address.....So, I updated them with the correct address, and the package arrived at my door steps this morning.

It was a "Case Logic" laptop case sent all the way from Deutschland (Germany lah~).  o.O

The letter attached reads,

"Dear James Matthew,
...............(yadayadayada..unrelated formalities-blabbing )............
You have proven yourself as a true rubber expert and secured the 7. rank on our highscore list. We would like to say "Congratulation" and hope that you will have a lot of fun with your prize!"

First of all......James Matthew?..........It's Matthew James! Fuck it.................James' the surname, Matthew's the given name, how hard can it be?!.......Yes, Azfar, I am telling this to you too! Stop calling me James!......and yes, I laughed uncontrollably at the line "true rubber expert".

Anyway, I got this prize from a German rubber company "Lanxess" . They will be opening their plant here in Singapore in a few more years, and they were recruiting during ChemExpo......There was this nice lady who came to me and told me all this, and also asked me to go online and play the "game"

And out of boredom, I actually did. It was like a quiz, answering questions related to material science, specifically on rubber and co-polymer..fyi, it was pretty much what we have learned from Material in Practice in school :  )

Little did I know that I actually won something out of it. The laptop bag is just a normal simple bag. But then again, I won it.........woohoo! It feels good you know? I mean, I never had much luck in this kind of thing, and out of the blue, I actually won something. Yeah, you bet it feels bloody good! It definitely cheer up my day...

.....Hmmm, I am hoping I have more things to update u guys on...but nah....that's all for now.......

So, good nights!

Quick!

|
Ok, loads of stuff to get busy with, so, I will update this blog in ten sentences, this is counted at the first sentence.

Had Microbiology lecture in the morning, the lecturer look identical to leng-lei......she is kinda interesting anyway....better than Gina Clara..

Should I register for the ISC committee interview..... don't you think I have kinda overloaded with Student Chapter works... decisions decisions......you know you gotta make them...

Had an essay test for Report Writing and Presentation today......I wrote "My Favourite Colour" .....it was totally crap, hope I don't get sent for SA.....double crossed fingers.

Kinda irritated during Microbiology practical today, after struggling with the distorted-blur image for over an hour...only then they tell me my 40X lens is faulty....bloody hell....I seriously felt like cursing out loud....

Still 5 sentences to go...now 4, : )

Am actually surfing Youtube......to watch some Bio videos for assignment.....mitochondria, RER, SER, Palisades mesophyll cells....crap, all these high school Bio terms has returned to hunt me....u know how much i dislike bio.

In W312 for practical briefing....sat next to Darren and were playing with the plug thing.....and we kinda came out with this bloody sick thing to do with the plug....LOL....it spreads like wild fire among the guys... (inside joke)

Last but not least....was waiting out the lab, and Winna said that Mr Kong looks kinda handsome......errrr........totally speechless......( Winna, don't kill me for writing this... : P )

Nights!

Delusioned.

|
Blogger's note: School has started. Stress is building up. Sorry readers, I will be following JC's approach - posting on Saturday. Of course, unless I am bloody free to post. But do check my blog from time to time.

As you readers know, I couldn't sleep on Sunday night. And gosh, trying to stay awake when you're sleep deprived is freakin' hard. I swear I almost fell asleep even when I was walking.

First day of school!

When to see Ms.Yau to get the order forms, posters and flyers for the Tee. Gosh, I have totally no Y2s and Y3s contacts at all... How on earth am I gonna pass the stuff to those 12 classes? Luckily, Naziah was there to help me with it.....Seriously couldn't have done it without her help. Big thanks to Naziah! Later, wanted to put up the posters at the labs/workshop....most of them were not open anyway....

Anyway, was slightly disappointing when I was told that the Tee samples will not be arriving until this Friday. I really really want to see how does the real Tee looks like. Am fcuking worried that the Tee not gonna look like the way I design it....I'm worried sick.....

Also, thanks to all 1B03-ians !!!! You guys totally rock man!!!!! Thanks for supporting me....I didn't expect you all to buy the Tee....thank you very much...THANKS!!!!

I survived the morning. IOCHEM ( Inorganic and Organic Chem)......It's was ok, I guess?! But, the lesson was getting a lil' bit dry. Appreciate the lecturer's effort trying to make the lesson more lively.

Afternoon, IOCHEM practical. Thank god it's the first week and we don't have practical yet. Just some briefing. It was alright I guess. Then we have Engineering Maths tutorial, again, since we have not even had a lecture yet, there is no tutorial todae.

Finally, after fighting with Mr.Sandman for morning and afternoon.....Now's the night life...well, kinda?

Sadly though, my 'night life' is not late night clubbing or stuff like that. It was evening classes of Econ. 4 hours till 9:30pm..and we didn't have dinner yet.

Hungry and sleepy. I think I am justified to sleep in class. And here's was what happened...

Lecturer: (teaching about substitution and complements)

Matt : (day night dreaming, half way into sleeps)

Lecturer: So, for example the relationship between a "Ipod" and the "headphone" is.....? (answer is complements goods)

(I forgot what I was day-dreaming about, but here is what happened, the thought of certain word just popped up in my brain and I was subconsciously convinced to say that word out. I look at the lecturer, very very blur proudly and loudly shouted out the word)

Matt: BATTERIES!

Everyone: (turned to me and laughed)

That has to be the most random thing that I have done in my life. I have no idea what have got me into saying Battery out loud. I mean, it is totally random. I have no idea how the word just pop out like that and I just couldn't resist the urge to say that word.......Anyway, the moment was priceless man..though it was bloody embarrassing as hell. Ironically, that was the only time the whole class was slightly more lively. Ah well, Matt has became the Joker of the business class already

Ok, that's all for now. Gonna go for dinner now. Bye!~

Go away. Because you took up too much space in my brain.  : )

Insomnia Strikes!

|
Blogger's note: This is another spur of the moment, random, and totally time-wasting post~

Ok, here's what happened. Btw, this photo below kinda freaky, don't you think so? Reminds me of certain horror film.

Figure that my complexion is already horrible enough and I should definitely get enough sleep to prevent any pimples outburst. Figure that my sleep cycle is pretty much screwed up and I desperately need to rectify it asap. Figure that I will need to get enough rest once school started so that I won't yawn during lectures.

After having all that figured out, I made a decision, I shall be a good boy and revert back to the 12am - 8am sleep routine. It work out well too, you know. For 6 weeks of holiday, I actually sleep the healthy way.......And God knows what happened on the very last day of the 6 weeks, I have a freakin' insomnia!

I never had an insomnia, never in my life. What the fcuk have happened? Suddenly I just don't feel like sleeping. Been tossing and turning in bed and I finally gave up, might as well just stay up the whole night.

But I just don't get it! Gah! Too frustrated to put my thoughts into words. I really wanted to get some quality rest especially tomorrow is a fresh semester and I would be having lessons from 8am to 9:30pm tomorrow! *Insert cantonese/hokkien curses here*

Ok, enough with the insomnia. Alright, now is 4:30am. You know, they say at this time of the night, a lot of people would commit suicide.

4:30am....It's already too late to go to bed, and yet it's too early to start the day. People who are still awake at this moment are usually feeling pretty lonely, and yadayadayada some people who couldn't tolerate the loneliness will just give in to the negative thoughts and kill themselves. Sad huh? So, when your feeling low, don't stay up till 4:30am.........No, I am not feeling low, I am angry. Because I am bugging sleep deprived!

Gosh, my bag is bloody heavy.
I am sleepy, I need sleep. Where is my sandman. Sprinkle some sand on me will ya? You need me to bribe you? Here's some "duit kopi"......Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..........

Ok, I ran out of random shyt to post. So, that's all for today.

Bye...........

Emo rant

|
I don't know what I am thinking, I woke up this morning and rushed to laptop check the list....and I didn't see your name there, instead I got a hand full of some other familiar names (that I don't really want to see). I should know about this, I mean, what's the odd after all. And yet, I actually feel blue about it. Sour. Disappointed to the deepest pit.

Maybe there's good in it too. Now, I could really get over this whole thing and really focus on stuff that really matters.....How many "really" have I used in the last sentence? Really? Or maybe I am just self comforting.

I need to get this thing out of my mind, I can't afford to mess up. Not even once......I am already really frustrated with all the things that are happening to me lately, it seems that none of them favours me.

Whatever, life's a bitch. Just get over it....Just a few dead ends are not gonna knock me down.Gonna put all these shits into a box and deal with it when I have a clearer mind.

I think I have brought the definition of "mood swing" to a whole new level. I need to start stuffing myself with work so that I won't think too much.

Don't ask me what is this post all about. Because, it is for me to know, for you to find out not know. Emo day, here I come.

Colours

|
Blogger's notes: There's something wrong with my mozilla firefox, my hotmail and blogger seem messed up...arghh.....Much as I hated it, am forced to use Internet Explorer for now, any idea?

Anyone who saw my pencil case, they will look twice.

It looks like a fine black pencil case from the outside. Nothing unusual.

Well, it is nothing special except I have over 20 colour pens/ highlighters in it.

2 pens in guy's pencil case...common.
20 pens in a guy's pencil case....seldom but fair enough.
20 colour pens in a guy's pencil case.... Rare.

Don't believe? Check out the photo below.

Seeing is believing....

Anyone who didn't know me reading this would think that I have some sorta colour fetish. I would, if I am reading this from someone else's blogs.

Now, wait till you see my lecture notes....I would not call it a notes at all....It was once a stack papers with boring black and white small fonts.....by the end of the semester, it has turned into a scrapbook with vibrant colours splashing around.

I have low attention span. Yes, I can't stay attentive for long. I always wonder off to lala land during lessons. That is why you usually see me staring at the lecturer and nodding at interval...It is just a cover up while I am day-dreaming in some other dimension. It works all the time. : )

I can't possible sit still in front of the notes and absorb everything into my brain like a sponge. I need music and more ever, I need to doodle. So, as I am revising, you will see me blasting loud music into my ears, while 'illustrating' my lecture notes.

But hell, it actually works! Seriously, I find it so much easier to remember facts/ understand theory but literately drawing it out. Take "Material In Practice" for example, it is so much easier when I have underlined the key points and doodle around it using colour pens....The colours, the drawings, all instantly stuck in my brain long enough for examination. Another good thing of using colours is.....It makes studying less stressful. In a way, I am indulging myself in Art more than studying.

I actually learned this from Lanna and Jie Cong (thx btw!). I used to see Lanna's Sejarah notes filled with colours and all that, and she claims it works like magic for her.

Jie Cong and his stick man figures that covers across the 6 whiteboards of form 5 classrooms during the study leave...His simple strokes of stick men easily covered several chapters of Sejarah in no time. Like the one below, he summarized the entire chronology of Khalifah system and each of their merits...with drawings! ( fyi to all non-SPM, it's Islamic Studies from the History subject...and it sucks!)

We actually survived though high school History lessons. 11 years of tremendous torture.

I merged the two methods together and it really works like magic !........and btw, Lanna, would you mind to reimburst me for all the money I spent on those colour pens?! (hint hint : Your ang pau moneh!)

So, readers....If you're thinking of a better studying method...Try colours. It really worth a try.

COLOURS..
because life is too short to be dull :D

K, guys, that is all for today! See ya next time!

Blogger's note: Hey peeps! School starting soon, this shall be my last week of freedom, hopefully I can still find some time to update on weekly basis. To an extent, I can't wait to start school, I need something to keep my brain occupied. Perhaps, too occupied.

It's almost a week after I have "resurrected" my blog. As I roam around the blogosphere, I found out that I am not alone in this....It seems that killing blogs and then raising it from the ashes (like a phoenix!) is a trend.

So, who else are in this? None other that the all my crazy fellas from WMS! Jie Cong, Dhinesh, and Alan!It is ironic that the four of us started our very first blog at almost the same time. Though Dhinesh and Alan revived their blogs but killed their blogs shortly afterward again. So much for the generation of citizen journalism huh?

Anyway, I read this from Alan's blog....

" SO, I am back to the world of blogging. It's kind of awkward when you completely shut something down, carry on with your life and then reopening it again under the same name. Imagine dumping a Dick, ignoring and not giving shit about Dick, and after a while, you go, "Hey, I miss my Dick."   "

ROFL! What a metaphore! I am sure you miss your dick a lot, don't dump it again, you'll need it to pee.

Jie Cong's blog is revived yesterday! ....and still under contruction...In order words, still looking for a nice looking template. Dhinesh's blog.... he revived his blog, and then went emo-emo-emo-emo, and ended his blog with a emo poem.

On the contrary, my classmates have turned into a lazy blogger! Why? I need gossips to read to fill my time, update please.

While my Malaysian friends are all caught up with the notorious Twitter fever, it seems that there is no trace of the virus among my friends in Singapore. The only person (whom I know) who tweets here is Zat. Come one ppl, Tweets! That's the new fashion.

Yup, am addicted to Twitter. It's like a mini-blogger. Just post whatever random shyt that pops up in your brain. It is actually more fun that it sounds like, especially when you have a large group of friends to tweet together.

On the other hand, I find myself decreasing active over Facebook. The applications, games, and tests.....Don't you think that they are a little overated? Idk, the only absolute advantage (for me, that is) I will never forget to wish the birthday babies. I am shifting my attention slowly from Facebook to Tweeter...

Speaking about facebook....check this out.

Ok, I think that is all for today. Thanks for reading!

Blogger's note: Sorry, am pretty busy today! SO, this shall be another blog filler...

I heard this song a good couple of times at MTV....But I always forgot to check for the singer and the song!....Finally, after hours of searching over the net....I found it!

Little Boots - Remedy

I already put a link at the side bar, but it is kinda small...so, I put up another one over here.

How is it? Nice?

This is the new song that got stuck in my brain for the week. She is like a fresh combination of Lily Allen and Lady Gaga...Cool huh?!

Ok peeps! I gtg now, enjoy your day! Bye!

Bored and Tired.

Blogger's Note: Slept for 10 hours and still feel tired. Arghh...another blogger's block.

First and foremost! Examination wishes!

Yup, the exam season is here again. I think I am bit late for PMR examination....but what the hell...All the best to you folks!  Also, the A-level people (Edexcel or Cambridge? Can't remember...but I think it's the Cambridge ones) who will be sitting for their exam soon, good lucks! Not forgetting the S.A.M people....all the best yo!

Whoa, it seems that all my high school buddies are almost done with college and going off to university soon! But I am still in first year...I feel so left behind man! Anyway, as someone says ..."life's a betch...get over it!"

Oh, before I forget again...Happy Birthday Adrian! You're legal!

I am bloody hyper, you can tell. Why?

I finally finished with those annoying challenging action plans for Student Chapters! Two publicity plans.... Just two short Words documents lesser than 50kb...and it took me weeks to get everything planned and done. You have no idea how glad I am to have it finally done........Just in time for next Wednesday's meeting with the teacher advisors. :  )

Well, to be honest, I have nothing to blog about today. My desk is in a huge mess right now and it ought to be tidied up asap before my mom sees it. This shall be a blog filler.

SO, to end this post, this is the new DCHE T-shirt. Price at 12 dollars each.

Blogger's note: Found this new channel on Youtube, Pomplamoose Music ....I kinda like some of their version of covers. Should check it out. ; )

FUCK!
that is how my timetable looks like.

Just receieved the new timetable...and damn it sucks big time. Guess what, the earliest I get to go home is 5pm.....the latest? 9:30 pm.

I still find Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to be fairy reasonable....but Tuesday really pisses me off.

Tuesday,

10.00am - 12.00pm :
Innovative Design Enterprise in Action (IDEA)

1.00 pm - 6.00 pm :
Chemical Engineering Principle B (CEPB)
....THAT's 5 hours!!

5:30pm - 9:30pm :
Fundementals of Economisc
....THAT's 4 hours!! and it clashed with the earlier class?!

I would staying in school from 8am all the way to 9:30pm on every Tuesday (13.5 freakin' hours)...In case you have not noticed, I have no time for dinner at all, 1pm to 9:30pm straight down. = =

And I still have to go home to do my buggin' assignments, drag myself to school on Wednesday morning to have another 3 hours of Engineering Maths.....I seriously suspect that they are trying to drain out every juicy drop of my brain....Pure torture of my pinky friend up in my skull.

By the end of Wednesday, my friends would find some hungry cerebellum-less exchange students came from zombie land....and we would be dancing to Micheal Jackson's Thriller lifelessly.

"Cause this is thriller, thriller night!"

Speaking of the King of Pop....anyway interested to watch his concert-documentary? I am not a die-hard MJ fan, but I am kinda interested to see all those concert footages....After all, it is his very last journey on stage.

Actually, there is another bigger reason why I absolutely hate this new timetable....But I don't find it safe suitable to rant about it here.....I am pretty sure all my fellow classmates from 1B03 would notice about it too. O Fortuna!

In total, we have a bumpy semester ahead.

Confession of a Workaholic

|
Blogger's notes: I almost make one of the biggest mistake .... for the second time. I need more clear thinking. I need more self-control. Can't afford to mess up, Matt!

"Hi, my name is Matt, and I am a workaholic"

There, I admit it, I am a bloody workaholic with poor health, retarded social life, and zero consciousness of the outside world. Oh, didn't I tell ya, I got laid yesterday, with Smexy~Work!

And the most amazing thing about it, is....I didn't even realise this until Will pointed it out.

Matt: Arghh! I am so bored now. I hate holidays...I got nothing to do.
Will : It's a sign...Your life is meaningless without school....
Matt: *shrug*
Will : ...without homework....without classmates
Matt: ?

Will : You're a workaholic...Horror!

He actually makes sense. I am like a total blur case without school.

For the past 4 months, I have been packing myself with so much of school works that I don't even have time care about things around me. The last few weeks of holidays.....I actually spent it all on Student Chapter's projects. I even penned down some of the ways to improve my dearest department (Communication!)

Communication Department to be lead by a introverted-ish nerd-ish dude like me.....How interesting/amusing....I am seriously worried if I can manage it after the seniors graduated next year.

Fast forward to next semester....Another 7 modules, this time the threat comes in three "Inorganic Chem", "Engineering Maths" and "IDEA" . The three femme fatales...hmmm...they spells troubles. On top of that, I signed up for an additional course, "Business"....and I will be attending evening classes for the next two years.

Plus, annual year book "Foveo III"... Just thinking about it scares the hell outta me....For starter, we don't even have sufficient homo-sapiens in our department at first place....and I never even see like 9 out of 10 of the ppl there. Ha! Wish me luck.

You think I am ranting here?
Complaining on the workload like a cry baby? You're so wrong.

Hell, I actually LOVE doing all these crazy thing! It makes me feel alive! I actually enjoy staying up late night working on something fantastic! Working with tight dateline is quite fun to me....especially when I see people around me struggling to cope with the dateline, lol.

And that very last statement above fully evidenced a trail of a severe case of workaholic. Case closed. Hello bad sitting posture in front of the laptop and super thick glasses, bye-bye social life....

Wait a second, I am not gonna let workload keep me down. Hell no! And that brings us to my new semester resolution! To be as crazily active in school as possible while maintaining a balance lifestyle! I think I can do it, I will. : )

Oh, I almost forgot, my sist got an offer to buy the original Adobe Creative Suite 4 at only S$99....while the retail price is about S$ 939.....

That's all for today. Cheers!

Btw, any SP Chem Eng student who is experience/willing to learn in Photoshop or Illustrator, can you please please please contact me, we need more talent in our department.

The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon

|

"I know this sounds ridiculous, but he has got a spoon! bu...but, it hurts like hell..."

Someone shared this video with me.....it is now officially my favourite video of all time. You got 10 minutes to spare? Watch this short movie. : )

and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.....

With all those running around, it is weird that he didn't seem to shed a gram of fats away....

Anyway, there's something about how the murderer stand/pose huh? LOL.

Tell me what you think about it the the tagboard.
